Okay, story time! I was in the city visiting my bestie, Sarah, and we decided to spend the morning soaking up the sun in Central Park. After all that strolling, we were starving! Luckily, I had seen a recommendation for Boucherie West Village from one of you amazing followers, and it was just a quick trip downtown. And let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!

First off, the vibe is pure Parisian bistro chic. It's a two-floor space, and you just feel transported. According to their tagline, they are known for "two-floor bistro serving dry-aged steaks and other French fare, with a bar that's strong on absinthe."

We started with a few appetizers because, honestly, how could we choose just one? The *Os à Moelle Rôtis* ($22) – roasted bone marrow with toasted country bread – were ridiculously good. Seriously, scraping that rich marrow onto the crusty bread? Heaven. We also split the *Salade Lyonnaise* ($22) because I love the crispy lardons and that perfectly poached egg. So yummy!

For drinks, I was feeling adventurous and decided to try one of their absinthe cocktails. I opted for the *Coucher de Soleil* ($20), a wild mix of Aperol, passionfruit, chocolate, and crème de cacao. It sounds crazy, but it totally worked! Sarah went with the *St. Martin's Summer* ($22) because she loves Rosé. So refreshing!

After our little feast, we decided to walk off some of those calories with a stroll through Washington Square Park. The energy there is always so vibrant and it’s a great spot for people-watching. We were tempted to catch a show in Bryant Park as well to end the day, but decided to call it a night.

Okay, but back to Boucherie! I have to say, a few other things on the menu caught my eye that I'll definitely be back for. Those *Les Escargots* ($28) sound divine, and I'm a sucker for a good French onion soup, so the *Soupe à l'Oignon* ($19) is a must-try next time. Oh, and their *Pain au Chocolat* ($8) looked incredible too. I'm also intrigued by the *Wagyu Carpaccio* ($32). So many choices, so little time!

What makes Boucherie special? It's the atmosphere. It's the kind of place you can linger for hours, sipping cocktails and pretending you're in Paris. Plus, the food is seriously top-notch.

If you're ever in the West Village and craving a little French flair, you absolutely HAVE to check out Boucherie. Seriously, treat yourself! Order the bone marrow and thank me later. You deserve it!
