So, I decided to hit the road and explore Sioux Falls this weekend after hearing about it from a few followers. I was especially excited to check out The Outdoor Campus and maybe do some hiking. After spending the morning learning about local wildlife, my stomach started rumbling, and I knew it was time for lunch.

I'd heard whispers about a place called Pho Thai Downtown, and let me tell you, the rumors were TRUE! Located downtown, this compact restaurant has a really warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. The menu is packed with Asian standards, but I decided to dive headfirst into their sushi selection.

First up? The Spicy Salmon Roll ($8.88). I'm a sucker for anything spicy, and this did NOT disappoint. The salmon was so fresh, and the spice level was perfect. I also couldn't resist trying the Philadelphia Roll ($7.88) – classic, creamy, and utterly delicious. But the real showstopper was the Red Dragon Roll ($14.88)! Shrimp tempura inside with a layer of tuna on top? YES, PLEASE! It was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. I even splurged on a Salmon Avocado Roll ($8.88) because, well, I'm a sucker for avocado. No regrets.

What I really loved about Pho Thai Downtown (besides the amazing food, obviously) was the friendly vibe. It feels like a real neighborhood gem. It's the perfect spot to fuel up after a morning exploring Falls Park and marveling at the Falls of the Big Sioux River, or even after an afternoon wandering around downtown.

Seriously, if you're in Sioux Falls, you NEED to check out Pho Thai Downtown. Whether you're a sushi fanatic like me or just looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, this place has got you covered. I already can't wait to go back!
