A day built around one meal
Okay, so I *had* to share my recent Vegas experience with you all! I was in town for my college roommate's wedding (so happy for her!), and while the ceremony was beautiful and Fremont Street Experience was as wild as ever, the real highlight might have been dinner at Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. Seriously, this place is LEGIT.
I'd actually heard about Joe's from a follower who knows my love for all things seafood. And after a morning spent exploring the Springs Preserve (who knew there was such a cool, educational spot right near the Strip?), I was definitely ready for a serious meal.
First off, the ambiance is incredible. It's lavish, as their tagline says, but in a classy, old-school way. You feel like you're stepping back in time, but with a super modern and upscale twist. Now, let's get to the good stuff – the FOOD!
I started with the Ahi Tuna Tartare ($22.95). It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and the presentation was on point. Then, because I was feeling extra fancy, I couldn't resist the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail ($24.95). These weren't your average shrimp; they were HUGE and so flavorful. I was already in heaven.
For my main course, I was torn. They have prime steaks, but I was really there for the seafood. So, I decided to go big and ordered the Crab Stuffed Shrimp ($42.95). No regrets! The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the crab stuffing was out of this world. Rich, decadent, and totally worth every penny.
I also couldn't resist trying a cup of their Manhattan Clam Chowder ($6.95). As a New England native, I'm picky about my clam chowder, and this one did not disappoint. It was hearty, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the rest of my meal.
Honestly, what makes Joe's so special is the quality of the ingredients. Everything is so fresh and expertly prepared. Plus, the service is impeccable. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like VIPs.
If you're ever in Vegas and looking for a dining experience that's a cut above the rest, you HAVE to go to Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat yourself, it's worth every single bite. Trust me, you won't regret it! Just thinking about it makes me want to book another trip ASAP!
