A day built around one meal
Okay, friends, let me tell you about my recent whirlwind trip to Vegas! I decided to take a quick weekend road trip, because I heard so much about Fremont Street Experience. The lights, the sounds, the energy – it's an absolute sensory overload in the best way possible. After spending a day soaking up all the downtown vibes, my stomach started rumbling something fierce.
That's when I remembered a follower had messaged me a while back RAVING about Giordano's deep-dish pizza. And guess what? There's a location right here in Vegas! "Known for deep-dish pizza, this casual chain serves other classic Italian food, plus beer & wine." – the Google description promised. It was fate, I tell you!
Let me tell you about my Giordano's experience. First of all, the smell when I walked in? Incredible. Pure, unadulterated pizza bliss. I was starving, so I decided to start with the GIORDANO'S SAMPLER ($19.95). It was a mountain of deliciousness featuring Tomato Bruschetta, Boneless Chicken Nuggets, Cheesy Garlic Bread, and Mozzarella Triangles. The mozzarella triangles ($12.35 by themselves) were perfectly crispy on the outside and gloriously cheesy on the inside, dipped in their house-made marinara, it was a match made in heaven!
But the real star of the show? Obviously, the deep-dish pizza. I went with "THE SPECIAL" ($29.75), with sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions. It was a hefty pie, absolutely LOADED with toppings. The crust was thick and buttery, and the cheese… oh, the cheese! So much cheese! It was a cheesy, saucy symphony in my mouth. Each bite was an explosion of flavor. I can confidently say it's the best deep-dish pizza I’ve ever had. I was in heaven!
Giordano's definitely knows how to make a meal feel special! The service was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and most importantly, the food was outstanding. I even tried a few of their Parmesan Garlic Fries ($6.25) and they were addictive!
If you're ever in Vegas, especially after spending a day exploring the Springs Preserve – which, by the way, is an amazing spot to learn about the natural history of the area – you HAVE to treat yourself to Giordano's. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you. Next time, I might even try the Meat & More Meat pizza ($32.25). I highly recommend Giordano's. It's a Vegas must-try (that isn't on Fremont Street)!
